Jon of JoLiStudios’ advice for entrepreneurs starting out was:
Clear Books. Without a doubt things would’ve been smoother if I’d known about cloud-based accounting and learnt how to use Clear Books for every piece of paperwork possible, making tax and vat returns easier, as well as checking the status of cash flow and outstanding invoices which were conveniently generated from quotations also stored in the system. Get the admin sorted first, then you can spend more time growing the business and your client base.
Now, we know this looks like a huge fix but we promise you it wasn’t.The draw was conducted entirely at random, we promise.
