ACCA is a global accounting body with over 170,000 qualified accounting members and more than 400,000 student trainees across 180 countries.
Being recognised for this prestigious accreditation is a great achievement for any company, especially a growing startup, and we’re delighted that it will allow our accounting students at Clear Books to utilise ACCA to fast track their professional development. This will in turn benefit Clear Books customers, as our support team will be even better placed to handle any complex accounting queries they may have.
The process of becoming an approved employer is based on various factors such as internal review processes, funding towards training and examinations, as well as the environment for learning and mentoring. With the new accreditation and all of these aspects in place, we will continue to ensure that training is a key part of our company and employee development.

Given its target market, Clear Books is a well designed, Internet based, accounting system that has been competently written and is supported by Clear Books plc and through a network of authorised suppliers. The system ledger design incorporating Sales, Purchase, and General Ledgers together with Stock list and quantity in stock provides accuracy and a facility to produce audit trails and a limited number of standard reports. These cannot be amended by the user, but data can be copied to spreadsheets for reporting purposes. The system makes good use of the Internet by providing facilities for emailing documents to customers and suppliers and for linking to online banking.
